Ms Rebecca Iannello

Rebecca is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in private practice and education settings providing clinical assessments and therapy for a range of different presentations including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, chronic pain, family and relationship difficulties, and personality disorders. She has experience working with adolescents and adults, and utilises a range of therapeutic models, including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and schema therapy. Rebecca is passionate about providing individuals with a safe and compassionate space to reflect upon experiences and difficulties, learn about themselves, and working together to find helpful ways to enhance their well-being and mental health.

Ms Saliha Kuru

Saliha is a psychologist who recently completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Social Neuroscience.

Saliha aims to provide an empathetic and safe space for her client to share their concerns and experiences. She believes that every individual deserves the right to feel heard and respected within their therapeutic journey. She values respect, mutual understanding, commitment, collaboration and professionalism to be key factors throughout this process.

Saliha utilises frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness based therapies to meet clients’ individual needs. She also works across the lifespan in multiple areas including depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and more.

Mx Charlie Dean

Charlie is a psychologist who completed their Master of Applied Psychology (Community) at Victoria University. Charlie has provided support for clients working with depression, anxiety, work related stress, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma histories and transgender and sexuality related issues.

Charlie is passionate about social justice and uses feminist, queer and decolonial theory in their work. Charlie takes a collaborative, client focused approach to psychological intervention which acknowledges social determinants and helps clients find ways to thrive. Charlie uses predominantly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Charlie is a registered psychologist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Ms Caryn Koo

Caryn is an accredited psychologist who is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has completed a Master of Educational Psychology and has a particular interest in working with paediatric clients.

Caryn has experience in supporting clients with a range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, social skills difficulties, low self-esteem, stress, emotional dysregulation, and perfectionism. She adopts person-centred and strength-based approaches to therapy. This includes evidence-based frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and play therapy. Caryn also provides cognitive, academic, and behavioural assessments for clients with varied presentations, including specific learning disorders, intellectual disability, and ADHD.

Caryn has a strong emphasis on rapport building and builds strong connections with clients by tailoring her approach to suit the needs of each individual. When working with children, she builds trust and rapport by taking on a creative and playful approach to ensure her clients feel safe and supported.

Ms Harshita Syal

Harshita has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Honors), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Master of Professional Psychology. Harshita is passionate about working with clients by fostering trust and providing a warm and non-judgmental environment. Harshita has experience in dealing with various client presentations such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, social skills deficits, difficulties with school readiness, autism and ADHD. Harshita uses an empathic and collaborative approach when employing techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. Harshita is registered as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Mr Keir Mathews

Keir is an accredited mental health clinician, family therapist, addiction counsellor, Social Worker, and senior training consultant, with over twenty years’ experience working in hospitals, rehabilitation centres and counselling services. He has extensive experience supporting individuals, families, carers and couples to achieve improved mental health and wellbeing, and healthier, more meaningful relationships. Keir trains new graduates through to senior medical practitioners at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, and he works with psychiatrists at NorthWestern Mental Health, on the Crisis and Assessment and Substance Use & Mental Illness Treatment teams.

In private practice, Keir utilises various Focused Psychological Strategies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Keir has supported his clients to reduce: stress; symptoms of anxiety and depression; self-criticism; and use of alcohol & other drugs. He has supported his clients to increase their: confidence and motivation; self-compassion; empathy; and ability to set healthy boundaries, and manage and resolve conflict with others.

He believes that with the right support and strategies, people can develop more clarity, optimism and confidence about their circumstances, and their future.

Mr Samuel Hoppe

Sam is a Provisional Psychologist who is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at RMIT University and has had experience as a NDIS mental health support worker prior to his studies in psychology.

He has had experience working with adult and child clients with presentations such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit hyperactive disorder, chronic pain, stress management, trauma, and disabilities.

He uses cognitive behavioural based therapies and a client centred approach to meet the client’s therapeutic goals. Sam aims to create a safe and supportive place for clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds to explore and improve their mental health. Sam values the importance of mental health and believes it is a key component of maintaining a healthy wellbeing.

Sam holds a Provisional Psychologist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a student member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Mr Anthony Shahat

Anthony (he/him) values a client centred approach to therapy and aims to provide a safe, non-judgemental, and empathetic space for individuals to explore their concerns.

Anthony has experience working across several presentations including, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, Trauma-related disorders, substance related issues, and depressive disorders. Anthony has an interest in supporting clients with ADHD and can complete ADHD assessments for both adults and children and provides ongoing ADHD symptom management. Additionally, Anthony has had experience working with NDIS clients and individuals with acquired brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, OCD, and has experience working with primary school aged children across a range of presentations.

Anthony is trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy (ST), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness based practices, as well as trauma informed practices. Anthony is also a facilitator of the DBT skills group program offered at Healing Minds Psychology.

Anthony completed his Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at The University of Melbourne, his Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) at Deakin University, and his Master of Professional Psychology at The Cairnmillar Institute. Anthony holds a Psychologist registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Dr Darko Hajzler

Darko is a psychologist who has extensive experience in university and school settings. He is a Counselling Psychologist member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He has experience with children, adolescents and adults. Darko works with clients to develop shared objectives. He utilises evidence-based strategies and techniques that derive from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (predominately Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy), and Psychoanalytic theory and practice.

Ms Catherine Rumball

Catherine has worked across primary and secondary schools, providing special education support classes in a variety of socio-demographic areas. Catherine has experience working with refugee and asylum seeker populations in immigration detention centres which enabled her to work closely with children, adolescents and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Catherine has experience providing intervention for trauma, depression, anxiety, and major mental health disorders as well as providing risk assessments. Catherine has also been involved in providing urgent psychological services, clinical counselling, critical incident defusing, manager support and high level client-focused liaisons. Catherine has a special interest working with children and adolescents over a wide range of issues – stressful life situations, anxiety, depression, grief, sleep disturbances, family issues and self-esteem. Catherine is available to provide educational assessments.

Ms Jessica Rosano

Jessica is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has completed a Bachelor of psychological science with honours, and a Master of Professional Psychology.

She has provided therapy for a range of concerns such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, and relationship concerns. Jessica utilises cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, stress management and acceptance and commitment therapy. She has experience using these interventions amongst children, adolescents and adults and has worked in private practice and educational settings.

Jessica is passionate about providing a warm and welcoming environment, with a client-centred approach. She aims to work collaboratively with clients to help enhance their well-being and mental health.

Ms Sarah Mullan

Sarah (she/her) takes a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to working with a range of clients and concerns, bringing in a warm, non-judgemental, and person-centred empathetic approach to suit the individual person’s needs and goals in therapy.

Sarah has experience working across several presentations such as but not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress, family issues, substance-related issues, trauma-related, neurodevelopmental, and personality disorders. Sarah can complete ADHD assessments for both adults and children and provides ongoing ADHD symptom management for adults. Sarah is also trained in cognitive assessments for children and adults. Sarah currently works mainly with ages 17+ due to availabilities.

Sarah has experience working with Workcover, TAC, NDIS, Medicare, and private health clients, where she advocates for her client’s best interest and best treatment outcome, collaboratively with the client and other third-party organisations. Sarah has previously worked in private practice and primary to secondary schools where she has co-facilitated social skills training groups for primary aged children, has run an online mindfulness program during the COVID-19 pandemic, and is currently completing additional training to become a Clinical Psychologist.

Sarah is trained in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based practices, Motivational Interviewing (MI), as well as trauma-informed practices. Sarah also enjoys incorporating other alternative techniques to mental health and wellbeing such as art and music therapy and has a passion for the benefits of animals on mental health.

Ms Juliana De Marco

Juliana is a Clinical Psychologist with a passion to help build insight and improve the mental health of individuals in the community. Juliana established Healing Minds Psychology in 2014 with the desire to offer an affordable and accessible service to individuals within the community. Juliana provides general counselling to a broad population of individuals using empathy and compassion and drawing from a family systems and person-centred approach. Her work is informed by her experience working in schools, private practices & community settings. Juliana has completed a specialist course in couples therapy at Relationships Australia and is currently undertaking extensive training to become a certified Schema Therapist.

Juliana utilises a range of interventions eclectically, to tailor a treatment plan to each clients' specific presenting concerns and therapeutic goals including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and DBT skills. Juliana is primarily working with an adult population.

Juliana is also a board approved supervisor, balancing her contributions to the growth and development of provisional psychologists and registered psychologists at HMP and her clinical work with clients. Juliana is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) college of Clinical Psychologists, and a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).

Ms Elisa Papotto

Elisa is a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Elisa has worked in private practice and education settings providing clinical assessments and therapy for a range of presentations including anxiety disorders, eating disorders, trauma, family and relationship issues, and grief.

Elisa’s passion for psychology is born out of her deep respect and empathy for the human condition. Ms Millie Gretton-Watson

Millie is a psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults who may experience problems related to anxiety, depression, phobias, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem issues, and stress-related issues.

Millie has completed a Master of Applied Psychology (Community) at Victoria University and incorporates the values of community psychology into her work. This approach prioritises client collaboration and considers the impact of social determinants on clients’ wellbeing. Millie also focuses on fostering a trusting and non-judgmental environment with her clients.

Ms Tina Nguyen

Tina is a nationally accredited Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Tina has a background working in government departments, residential care, disability support services and community settings.
Tina uses an empathic and collaborative approach to support her clients manage a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties and workplace stress. Tina has experience working with both adolescence and adults. She utilises a range of therapeutic models including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution focussed therapy and mindfulness to achieve positive results for her clients. Tina has a particular interest working with individuals living with an intellectual or physical disability.

Ms Rachel De Campo

Rachel has over ten years’ experience working with young people in a number of different settings including schools, private practice, government and community settings.Rachel adopts a playful and warm approach to therapy. She utilises evidence-based approaches when working with young people that includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. Rachel has experience working with young people who present with depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger issues and autism spectrum disorder. Rachel is able to provide educational assessments. Rachel has a Graduate Diploma of Science (Clinical Psychology) and Master’s Degree of Psychology, Counselling. Rachel is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Ms Hala Alaoui

Hala is a caring and dedicated psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Hala’s calm approach is based on creating a safe and comfortable environment aiming to improve the lives of others in the areas of, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, wellness, self-care, problem solving, and setting achievable goals. Hala has undertaken two clinical placements working as a provisional psychologist, she utilises evidence based interventions and practices from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework.Hala was born in Australia to migrant parents, she speaks both English and Arabic fluently. Her cultural appreciation extends beyond the cultures she has experienced, this is often displayed via her eagerness to learn and understand diverse cultures. Through her previous work experience, Hala has engaged with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and prides herself on displaying respect, cultural sensitivity, and diverse world views as understanding these different aspects of the client’s life can assist in best practice and care planning. Ms Stephanie Saidel

Stephanie is a Psychologist that recently completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical). Stephanie has experience working with adults on a range of presentations including mood disorders, adjustment issues, substance abuse, and communication issues.

Stephanie's interpersonal style is transparent, and she always aims to create a safe space where the client and herself can work together towards goals. She primarily utilises evidence-based techniques and interventions from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) perspective. She also has experience implementing mindfulness-based and distress tolerance techniques.

Ms Annabelle Welch

Annabelle (she/her) is a Provisional Psychologist in her final year of study. She is of a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background. Annabelle is committed to providing therapy that is sensitive to the needs and background of the individual.

She can provide care to adults presenting with a range of difficulties including, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, relationship issues, and OCD. She also has a special interest in assisting people with eating and body image struggles.

She has experience in a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

Annabelle completed her Bachelor and Honours degree in Science (Psychology) at the University of Melbourne. She is completing her Master of Clinical Psychology at RMIT University. Ms Selena Meneghini

Selena is a Psychologist who recently completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the Institute for Social Neuroscience.

Selena aims to create a safe and supportive space for clients to be understood in the context of their world and experiences. Selena adopts a collaborative and open approach to therapy, which hopes to encourage clients to reinforce agency over their concrete goals and intervention styles in their therapy journey.

Ms Halime Ayranci

Halime is a psychologist who recently completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Social Neuroscience. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Halime has provided therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in private practice and educational settings. She has worked closely to provide support for individuals with autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, learning disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders. She is particularly focused on depression, anxiety, work-related stress, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship conflicts, and poor emotional regulation.

Halime prioritises collaboration, respect, and trust with the individuals she works to support them the best she can. She implements evidence-based treatments and approaches, tailoring to each individual’s needs.

Before working as a provisional psychologist, Halime worked as an inclusion support worker to support children and adolescents with disability to improve their relationships, increase their social and community participation, and to maximise their independence.

Ms Emma Giagnacovo

Emma is a provisional psychologist currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at RMIT University and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Emma completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) at RMIT University and her Graduate Diploma of Professional Psychology at Monash University.

Emma values a client-centered approach and prioritises the importance of a safe, comfortable, empathetic and non-judgmental environment for self-discovery and personal growth.

Emma has experience working across a number of adult presentations and is particularly focused on depression, anxiety, stress (life and work-related), trauma, grief, PTSD, phobias, self-esteem, sleep issues and relationship conflicts. Emma utilises evidence-based approaches to therapy, such as CBT, mindfulness, ACT and DBT, and tailors her methods to meet the unique needs of each client.

Ms Caroline (Cas) Wearne

Cas is a registered psychologist who graduated with a Masters of Psychology (Counselling Psychology) in 2007. She has worked with young people in the public mental health system and at headspace, in adult in-patient psychiatric care and in private practice.

Cas has experience in numerous therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, Self-Compassion and Mindfulness. Cas works in collaboration with clients to find the most helpful treatment style and to set goals for therapy using warmth, empathy and respect for the client.

Cas enjoys working with adults and young people to build a trusting, collaborative and nonjudgmental relationship and work together to overcome mental health challenges that can impact their enjoyment of life. Ms Kellie Smith

Kellie is a psychologist with a passion for improving the mental health of children, adolescents and adults in educational and community settings. Kellie has completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

In her therapeutic approach, Kellie integrates evidence-based interventions such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing techniques. Her broad experience includes supporting diverse clients experiencing mood disorders; PTSD; OCD; body-image and/or self-esteem concerns; family and relationship issues; identity and/or sexuality concerns; grief and loss; ASD; and ADHD.

Ms Areeba Sadiq

Areeba is a Registered Psychologist who completed her Honours ins psychological sciences and Masters in Psychology. Areeba's interested in working with young people to overcome numerous challenges presented during the adolescence stage and assist them in developing the resiliency required to manage adversities in a warm and nurturing environment. When working with children, young people, and their families, she strives for a collaborative approach to overcome difficulties whilst complementing current strengths.

Children and young people should experience a greater connection to their developing identity, increased confidence, and greater independence in managing their current experiences so that they can achieve a fulfilling and meaningful life. She uses individualized and tailored evidence-based approaches to suit the needs of the child/young person. Mr Sean Gibbons

Sean aims to create a safe, collaborative and judgment free space for clients with a wide range of presentations to better understand and reach their goals.

Sean holistically draws upon a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to foster a client-centred approach towards meaningful change. These include Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Ms Alekzandra Capanna

Alekzandra is a provisional psychologist currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at RMIT University. She is committed to improving the mental health and well-being of others with a focus upon client rapport and collaboration. Alekzandra’s primary areas of interest and experience include depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, disordered eating, OCD, self-esteem issues, interpersonal relationship problems, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.

To achieve therapy goals, Alekzandra utilises evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) whilst also drawing upon principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). This is done within an empathetic space whereby client respect and understanding are of the utmost importance.

Alekzandra is provisionally registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is available on Mondays and Wednesdays at our Coburg clinic.

Ms Danielle Anderson

Danielle is a General Psychologist who is currently completing her registrar program to become clinically endorsed.

Danielle is passionate about helping people in the community gain coping strategies to live a fulfilling and satisfying life, despite adversity. Danielle enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults who may experience problems related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, phobias, relationship and interpersonal emotional difficulty, self-esteem issues, and stress-related issues. Danielle can also conduct assessments for learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and ASD.

Danielle will provide therapy that is individualised and tailored to each client’s needs. She takes an evidence-based approach when conducting therapy, and is thoroughly-trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), schema therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Further, Danielle regularly attends supervision meetings and professional development courses to keep her knowledge and practice up to date. Danielle enjoys working collaboratively with each client and creating a non-judgemental safe-space where clients can feel at ease to discuss their concerns.

Danielle has experience in schools, in private practice, with NDIS clients and within the community. Danielle also conducts psychology-related workshops and tutorials for university students. Danielle is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Ms Vassia Garuli

Vassia is a dedicated provisional psychologist currently completing her final year in the Master's of Clinical Psychology. With a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, Vassia brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to her work. Vassia has worked with a range of clients over the years in different clinical settings both face to face and telehealth. Her calm and soothing demeanor, combined with a holistic view of psychological treatment, allows her to connect deeply with clients, supporting them through their healing journey. Vassia is committed to applying evidence-based practices to help individuals achieve mental wellness and resilience. Vassia is also passionate about working with people across diverse cultures and she speaks Greek fluently.

Mr Declan Delaney

Declan is a psychologist who recently completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at the Institute for Social Neuroscience. He is passionate about working with people of all ages in the community experiencing problems related to depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, insomnia, ADHD, ASD, trauma, dissociation, identity, phobia, schizophrenia, sexually related issues, and OCD.

Declan provides psychological therapy that is tailored to clients' needs. He takes an evidence-based approach to therapy, and is trained to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Skills, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions in his practice. He is passionate about creating a collaborative, non-judgemental space where clients can freely discuss their concerns.

Declan is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Mr Jacoub Barsoum

Jacoub is a psychologist who has recently completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the Institute for Social Neuroscience (ISN Psychology).

Jacoub has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children with a variety of presentations which include anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, ADHD, and ASD.

Jacoub is compassionate, empathetic, and patient in his approach when working with clients to ensure a collaborative effort to meet treatment goals. Jacoub utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness-based Interventions primarily when working with clients.

Ms Kelsey Henderson

Kelsey is a Provisional Psychologist who is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at RMIT University and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Kelsey has had experience as a grief counsellor prior to her studies in psychology.

Kelsey is passionate about creating a warm, safe environment for clients of all backgrounds, providing a space for people to be heard and understood. Kelsey utilises a collaborative and open approach to therapy, encouraging self-reflection and exploration of individualised therapeutic goals.

Kelsey has had experience working across several adolescent and adult presentations and is particularly focused on anxiety and depressive disorders, stress management, phobias, perfectionism, obsessive-compulsive disorders, eating disorders, self-esteem, PTSD, grief and trauma.

Ms Elana Scicluna

Elana (she/her) is a Provisional Psychologist currently undertaking the Master of Professional Psychology Practice (MPPP) degree with The Cairnmillar Institute and completing her final year of placement towards full General Registration.

Elana brings a compassionate, empathic and client-centred approach with her clients. She aims to create a warm, safe and empowering environment for people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. In turn this allows her to hear and understand an individual’s experience in order to customise her treatment approach to best suit the distinct needs and/or goals of each client.

Elana has some experience working with various psychological concerns among children in an educational setting. She has worked with issues including but not limited to; anxiety disorders, mood disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She also has experience working as a Support Worker, providing professional, practical and social support to assist clients across various fields in the Human Services Sector including; Mental Health, Child Protection and Alcohol and Other Drugs.

Elana uses evidence-based approaches in the assessment and treatment of a variety of psychological concerns. She draws upon elements of different treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Elana holds Provisional Psychologist registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Victoria (she/her) is a General Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Monash University and her Master of Professional Psychology at The Cairnmillar Institute.

Victoria adopts a collaborative and client-centered approach that aims to tailor therapy toward each client's individual needs and goals. Victoria is passionate about providing a safe and empowering environment. She believes in developing strong therapeutic relationships founded on empathy and warmth to promote client wellbeing.

Victoria has experience working with a wide range of psychological concerns across the lifespan in both educational and private settings. She has worked with issues; including but not limited to trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, stress-related disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Victoria adopts an eclectic approach to treatment that draws upon a wide range of evidence-based psychological treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and trauma-informed practices.

Ms Pelin Kuru

Pelin is a Provisional Psychologist who is coming close to completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Social Neuroscience (ISN). She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Pelin works across the lifespan but has particular interest in working with adults. She has over 10 years of experience, working in adult mental health in Broadmeadows. Throughout her professional life, Pelin has worked with a wide range of presentations including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, trauma, grief, domestic violence, sexual assault, and anger management. Pelin is also confident in working with complex cases and managing risk. She has particular interest in psychosis and psychotic disorders, completing 2 thesis projects in this line of research. Pelin is able to utilise a range of interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT), but prefers adopting an open approach to therapy tailored to individual needs and therapeutic goals.

Pelin was born in Australia, but comes from a Turkish background, having excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish. Her cultural sensitivity and previous learnings through Professional Development Trainings on CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) populations have always helped her in developing trusted relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.

Mr Carl Castle

Carl is a Clinical Psychologist who has also trained in the area of human bio-science. Carl uses a holistic approach to comprehensively address the many aspects of a person’s life which can undermine their resilience and sense of well-being. Carl’s experience is broad and informed by work across the lifespan, including children and adolescents in school and private clinic settings, as well as more specialised cross-cultural work with adults who have experienced war and refugee trauma. Carl uses both traditional and contemporary psychotherapies, in conjunction with current psycho-physiological perspectives, to empower clients with a broader understanding of their symptoms and problems, which they can then better manage using specific collaboratively developed intervention strategies. Carl has particular interest in the treatment of anxiety, panic, depression, PTSD, burnout, anger management, sleep disturbance, fatigue, as well as drug and alcohol problems. In addition, Carl also has an interest in the clinical assessment and early supportive intervention of learning and behavioural difficulties in young people, as well as issues involving self harm, suicidal ideation and grief work.

Mr Nav Wellington

Nav is a skilled and compassionate clinical psychologist with extensive experience. Nav is also a board-approved supervisor and is available to supervise psychologists, provisional psychologists and clinical registrars in a broad range of therapies. Nav is passionate about working with individual adult clients to promote their well-being, helping them to develop the tools to effectively manage challenges and build meaningful relationships with themselves and others. Nav aims to develop a rich and fulfilling therapeutic space with his clients and has a particular focus on helping his clients to create meaningful change and growth.

Nav uses an integrative approach, tailoring interventions based on his client’s individual needs working from a humanistic framework. Nav draws on evidence-based interventions, including Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) CBT, IPT, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Nav works alongside his clients to develop meaningful goals, foster a collaborative, respectful and empathetic relationship with his clients. Nav is deeply dedicated to supporting his clients to achieve their personal goals, improve their relationships with themselves and others, their outlook on life and their overall wellbeing.

Nav is also a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
