Ms Danielle Anderson
Danielle is a provisional psychologist who is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Social Neuroscience. She is passionate about helping people in the community gain coping strategies and live a fulfilling and satisfying life, despite adversity. Danielle enjoys working with people of all ages who may experience problems related to anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, interpersonal emotional difficulty, separation anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem issues, stress-related issues, ADHD, ASD, phobias, and identity or sexual-related issues.Danielle will provide therapy that is individualised and tailored to each client’s needs. She will take an evidence-based approach when conducting therapy, and is well-trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions. Danielle enjoys working collaboratively with each client and creating a non-judgemental safe-space where clients can feel at ease to discuss their concerns.Danielle has experience in schools, with NDIS clients, in private practice, and has also conducted psychology-related workshops and tutorials for university students. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
